About Lisa
A dedicated, experienced educator.
I'm Lisa, a fully qualified teacher (QTS) with more than 25 years of teaching experience. I have taught in primary and secondary schools, worked with students across Asia and Europe, and now specialise in personalised one-to-one tuition in English, Maths, 11+ and Common Entrance.
Every lesson begins with understanding each student's strengths and goals. I create bespoke lesson plans, build confidence through engaging activities, provide regular feedback to parents and support learners with Dyslexia and other SEND.

Let's have a chat
We'll start with a friendly conversation to get to know your child, their interests, any challenges they're facing, and what you'd like them to achieve. You're always welcome to call or ask questions at any time.
Getting to know your child
The first lesson is all about building confidence and understanding how your child learns best. I'll gently assess their current level, learning style, strengths, and areas where they may need a little extra support.
A learning plan just for them
I'll create a personalised learning plan tailored to your child's needs, using formative (ongoing) assessments to identify knowledge gaps and adapt lessons accordingly. I'll provide regular feedback, along with personalised homework and resources to reinforce learning between sessions.
